Our Programs



Beyond the Student Subscription Series, Goodman offers free educational programming for all ages. From storytelling workshops for children to summer theatre camps for teenagers, Goodman keeps you connected to theatre arts year-round, inside and outside our productions. Young Critics Circle

Young women from Chicagoland high schools critique our productions and train with professional journalists in our newest partnership with the Association for Women Jouralists - Chicago.

General Theatre Studies

A six-week intensive introduction to theatre arts exclusively for Chicago Public High School students that allows participants to explore their voice, creativity and beliefs.

CONTEXT: Discourse and Discussion

One-night-only events that encourage the exploration of ideas in our productions through music, film, discussions and lively debate.

Family Workshops: StoryQuilts

Storytelling and quiltmaking combine in our StoryQuilts workshops, which explore the themes from our mainstage shows and allow children to share their own stories in words and pictures.

Internships

Professional training for college students and recent graduates interested in learning the ropes of theatre administration and/or production.
